Strong Clinical Skills In Cardiac & Telemetry Care
Proficient in Bedside Shift Rounds & Patient Handoff
Dress Code: Professional garb (scrubs)

About The Unit
- Unit Type: Cardiac step-down from CSSU and IVCU, Med/Surg Tele, Stroke Overflow
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratio: 5:1
- Staffing: 4 RN teams with a free CNC, 2 LNAs, and a Unit Clerk
- Common Cases: CHF, COPD, Chest Pain R/O, Pacemakers, Thoracentesis, Trachs, PD, BiPAP, High-Flow Oxygen, CIWA Protocols
- Procedures Performed: Thoracentesis, PD, Pacemakers, Cardiac Cath, Trachs, CIWA Management
- Equipment Used: IV pumps, Sara Steady, High-Flow Oxygen, BiPAP, Kangaroo Pumps
- Charting System: Meditech Expanse
