What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Project Engineer position at Etechhi?
An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the San Jose, CA area for a local individual with 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with a background in Wastewater / Water Treatment facility projects . All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration
- Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have 5 years of Project Engineering / Management experience with large Civil / Wastewater / Water Treatment facility projects .
- Experience with Construction Administration duties including directing and supervising field construction activities , serving as liaison, monitorin g project plans / specs in tandem with project budget and schedule, responding to RFI’s, Submittals, Contractor scheduling, Close-Out Documentation, etc. is a MUST
- Overseeing and communicating project progress , coordinating contractors daily / weekly and interacting with clients, designers, contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies is a MUST
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related is a MUST
- California Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is a MUST
- Certified Construction Manager (C.C.M.) is a PLUS
