An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the Houston, TX area for an individual with 2 years’ experience as a Proposal Writer with a background in Engineering, Construction, or Environmental projects and Marketing. This position would earn a generous base salary and a loaded benefits package including 100% paid medical insurance for you and your dependents , life insurance, 401k with matching, profit sharing, PTO and other outstanding benefits / perks.
Required work experience includes :
- 2 years of experience as a Proposal Writer for Construction, Engineering or Environmental projects is a MUST
- Experienced with full lifecycle proposal development including : document management, compliance matrices, technical narratives, landing bids, RFP’s, template creation , etc. is a MUST
- Experience with Government Contracts, Bids, and Procedures is a MUST
- Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive content is a MUST
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Office , Graphic Design software and Adobe Creative Suite ( g., Illustrator, Photoshop, etc .) is a MUST
- Prior Marketing or Business Development experience ( including illustration or generation of marketing graphics, charts, diagrams, etc.) is a BIG PLUS
- Knowledge of engineering and construction terminology and practices is a BIG PLUS
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communication, Business, Marketing, Media & Journalism or equivalent experience is a MUST
