Pega Architect - W2 Contract

Overview: The Pega Architect plays a critical role in the design and implementation of Pega applications for organizations seeking to streamline their processes and enhance customer engagement. This position requires a seasoned professional who possesses advanced knowledge of Pega platforms and best practices in software architecture. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable Pega solutions that meet business requirements.
• Lead the development team through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and validate requirements.
• Implement Pega best practices and design patterns to enhance system performance.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to optimize Pega applications.
• Architect integration solutions between Pega and other enterprise systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and architectural diagrams.
• Facilitate design workshops and architectural discussions with stakeholders.
• Monitor application performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support testing efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection regulations.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Pega development and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Pega version updates and enhancements.
• Experience with Pega 8.x and associated technologies.
• Professional certification in Pega (e.g., Pega Certified Senior Systems Architect) is preferred.
• Proven experience in architecture, design, and development of Pega applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
