Tableau Developer with Salesforce - W2 Contract

Overview: The Tableau Developer with Salesforce expertise plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making processes within the organization. As a key member of our analytics team, the developer will leverage Tableau to create compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards that help stakeholders understand complex data sets. This position requires an individual with a blend of technical skills and creativity, capable of translating user requirements into intuitive visual reports that drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating Tableau with Salesforce CRM, ensuring that the data is managed effectively and visual reporting reflects real-time insights. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards that convey key business metrics.
• Integrate data from Salesforce into Tableau to support comprehensive reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Optimize existing Tableau dashboards for performance and user experience.
• Conduct data validation processes to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Provide training and support for end users on Tableau functionality.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes for efficiency.
• Stay updated with Tableau developments and best practices to enhance our analytics capabilities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a centralized data warehouse.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data integrity and security during integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot dashboard performance issues.
• Document processes and dashboards for internal reference.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and roadblocks.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests from the management team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or similar role.
• Strong exposure to Salesforce CRM and its data structures.
• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Experience in training and mentoring junior staff as needed.
