What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Manager (Hybrid / Freelance) position at Eternal Jewelry?
Overview: We are a small, growing online jewelry business seeking a creative and results-driven social media marketer to help drive sales and engagement through performance marketing on TikTok and Instagram.
NOTE: The role is mostly REMOTE however you will need to come to the studio (Newtown, PA) and events to shoot content. Events are in Philadelphia, Bucks County, New Jersey and NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage paid advertising campaigns on TikTok and Instagram to drive conversions and sales.
- Create engaging, trend-aware short-form video content, images, and graphics for ads.
- Edit video and photo content tailored specifically for TikTok and Instagram ads.
- Continuously optimize campaigns to achieve target ROI and minimize cost-per-acquisition.
- Develop clear audience targeting and segmentation strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing on creative elements, copy, and landing pages.
- Monitor analytics, measure ad performance, and regularly report results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience running and scaling paid social campaigns, especially on TikTok Ads Manager and Meta Ads Manager (Instagram).
- Demonstrated skill in creating and editing engaging short-form videos and graphics for social media ads.
- Strong knowledge of trends and creative best practices specific to TikTok and Instagram.
- Ability to use basic video editing software/apps (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Canva, etc.).
- Data-driven approach with proficiency in analyzing campaign performance and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
- Background or strong interest in jewelry, fashion, or related lifestyle sectors is a bonus.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Freelancer or contractor available approximately 10-20 hours per week.
- Creative, proactive, and able to independently identify and execute new content ideas.
- Passionate about social media trends, particularly within fashion and jewelry niches.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in managing timelines and deliverables.
