Hospice RN Administrator / DON
The Hospice Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the hospice organization. This critical role ensures the hospice provides high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families.This is a Duel Role for Hospice DON / Administrator until the census growth goal is reached to support split positions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospice, including staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to guide the hospice team
- Manage the hospice's financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and cost control
- Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the hospice team, including nurses, social workers, and volunteers
- Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to measure the hospice's effectiveness
- Ensure the hospice complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
- Participate in Administrative On-Call Rotation
- Be willing to Roll-Up your sleeves, put on scrubs and assist with admissions while growing.
