What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper (Temp) position at Eternal Word?
GROUNDSKEEPER
Temporary / Work onsite in our Facilities Department starting now through June 2025.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:
This punctual and dependable individual will assist the Facilities team in maintaining the Network grounds. They will perform various tasks to create and maintain a beautiful campus environment for our employees and visitors.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have a minimum 1-year ground keeping experience (cutting & edging lawns, planting flowers, pruning shrubs, etc.).
- You have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- You have the ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, speak and hear clearly throughout the day, working outside in all weather conditions.
- You possess a positive attitude and the ability to follow specific instructions and safety guidelines.
- You possess a valid Alabama driver’s license.
- You hold a High School diploma or GED
WORK SCHEDULE:
- 40 hours per week / Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm
