About the Role:
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Fire Protection Relationship Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the fire protection industry, and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection or related industry.
- Proven record of honesty and integrity in all relationships.
- Strong understanding of fire protection, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems
- NICET is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the fire protection industry, including products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as NFPA and local building codes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage service requests and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% - 60% of the time; or as required to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for fire protection installation services within designated territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop proposals and project plans that meet client requirements and specifications.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of fire protection systems and services.
- Negotiate contract and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to effectively position our offerings in the market.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company, consistently striving for excellence in performance.
