What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Assistant position at Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions?
Hemp/THC farm in Newburgh is looking for a Lab Assistant. Employee must have a science/lab background to be considered for this role.
Lab Assistant will be using their knowledge to assist with developing THC and CBD products from oils. Must have a roll up your sleeve attitude as you will not only be developing the product but also working in a small production environment to assist with making and bottling product. During slower times, you may also be asked to assist in other spots on the farm during grow and harvesting seasons.
Requirements:
- Employee must have at least a an associates in a related science field
- Experience in product development is a plus
- Roll up your sleeve attitude
- Ability to lift 30lbs unassisted
- Standing for long periods of time
- Must be reliable, self starter, follow directions well.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Hours are generally 8am-5pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekends but we are looking for someone that is able to be flexible with hours.
