Pay: $19.23 - $24.04 per hour ( 20% shift differential)

Your Role
As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying coatings to components according to engineering specifications. This includes surface preparation, mixing paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes in a fast-paced production environment.
Painter Responsibilities
- Prepare and mask components of various sizes for finishing
- Interpret part drawings and process instructions
- Mix paints, reducers, and catalysts according to strict specifications
- Set up and operate various paint guns and nozzles for optimal results
- Apply undercoats and topcoats to precise thickness and gloss requirements
- Coordinate painting, curing, and baking cycles to maximize production efficiency
- Conduct inspections, including paint film testing, adhesion tests, and water break tests
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and paint inventory
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Work mandatory overtime as needed to meet production demands
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (on-the-job training provided)
- Familiarity with military specifications in the aerospace industry is a plus
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 requirements is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing work environments and feedback
- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
