Nursing Scheduler / Administrator

Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the direct care staff through scheduling, supply inventories, payroll assistance and attendance tracking, belongings auditing and nursing audits to assist with QAPI

Qualifications

Education: High school degree or degree from an accredited college. Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.

Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.

License: Will require valid driver’s license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using personal or hospital owned vehicle.

Position Requirements

• Creates and maintains schedule for Nurses and Mental Health Technicians
• Publishes 6 week schedule within 3 weeks of new schedule beginning
• Maintains a working inventory of supplies for nursing needs
• Tracks expiration dates on all inventory and lab supplies.
• Upholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standards.
• Monitors belongings regularly to ensure organization and efficiency
• Audits charts to ensure accuracy
• Audits Rounding regularly to ensure compliance, reporting non-compliance to nursing management.
• Assist Nursing management with Payroll responsibilities
• Assists in tracking attendance for all direct care staff.
• Assists in floor coverage as needed as a Mental Health Tech
