Ethan Crossing of Indianapolis is currently recruiting a Registered Nurse for the position of a Part Time RN Infection Control Preventionist.
Position Summary: Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing compliance of Infection Control and Prevention programs of the hospital. Develops policies and procedures that ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, CMS and other county, state, and federal regulatory agencies. Conducts surveillance activities, prepares reports and action plans; conducts staff education and training in infection control and prevention
Qualifications
Education: BSN or MSN from an accredited program of professional nursing and relevant state licensure required.
Experience: At least 2 years experience in infection control and prevention.
License: Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements: Evidence of continuing education in infection control (e.g. APIC, Certification in Infection Prevention and Control)
