Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Security Team Consultant to support the Security & Controls workstream as part of the SAP S/4HANA implementation for NYPA in collaboration with Deloitte. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP modules relevant to their role and a strong background in enterprise transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise:

• Provide subject matter expertise in Security-related processes and SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Defining what a user or role can do with that particular data or function, allowing for granular management of security permissions within the database.
• Security resources can be individual tables, views, stored procedures, or even specific columns within a table, enabling fine-tuned access control based on business needs.
• Role-based access: Users are typically assigned roles which contain sets of permissions to various security resources, allowing administrators to manage access rights efficiently.
• Data protection: By defining security resources, sensitive data can be protected from unauthorized access, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Auditing capabilities: SAP HANA tracks user activity on security resources, allowing administrators to monitor and audit access patterns for potential security breaches.
• Ability to:
• Tables: A specific database table containing sensitive information.
• Views: A customized view of data from a table, allowing controlled access to specific columns or rows.
• Stored procedures: A block of code that performs specific operations on data, where access can be restricted based on user roles.
• Configure, test, and optimize SAP security functionalities in alignment with business requirements.
• Develop functional specifications and oversee system integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with SAP and industry standards for security, reporting, and operational excellence.
• Leverage experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and related tools to enhance security frameworks.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Deloitte consultants to implement security solutions effectively.
• Lead design workshops to gather requirements and develop strategic security solutions.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for key users and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving and Optimization:

• Identify and address security challenges, risks, and optimization opportunities within the Security & Controls workstream.
• Proactively propose improvements to security protocols and configurations.
• Ensure timely resolution of security-related issues and provide support during project go-live and post-go-live phases.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of SAP experience, with specialization in Security-related modules and functionalities.
• Strong understanding of Security & Controls processes, best practices, and integration points within SAP.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP security solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, and related tools is a plus.
• SAP certification in the relevant area is preferred.
