Ethos Biosciences

At Ethos Biosciences, we are a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that offers private label manufacturing to many of the biggest life science and diagnostic companies around the world. Our core competencies are immunoassays (ELISA/Lateral Flow) as well as specialty and high volume diagnostic stains, buffers, and reagents. Our laboratories, manufacturing suites, and warehouse areas are purpose built to accommodate these specialty manufacturing and development operations. We occupy a newly built, state of the art, 126,000ft² stand-alone building in Logan Township, NJ. Proud to be part of Greater Philadelphia, we are 25 miles from Cherry Hill, NJ, 25 miles from Villanova, PA, and 16 miles from Wilmington, DE. Our processes are governed by an ISO 13485/FDA 820 Medical Device certified quality management system (QMS). Everyday we design, develop, and manufacturing diagnostic products that are accurate, repeatable, and easy to use. Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)

 This position performs tasks and provides services to support the company's production goals, overall business plans and objectives as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in company directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
• Removes finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification and labeling to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure finished goods are properly documented.
• Stages finished goods and materials in accordance with warehouse and production planning schedule.
• Conducts inspection of assigned equipment.
• Conducts inspection of materials used for packaging.
• Communicates to management any machine malfunctions.
• Solid math skills and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Performs clean-up and housekeeping duties.
• Reviews and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
• Overseeing training of new Material Handlers.
• Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts.
• Required to work assigned shift.
• Understands and practices proper accumulation and storage requirements for waste.
• Complies with environmental regulations when using, dispensing, or handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials and wastes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
• Job-related experience for 1 year preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work standing for long periods of time with frequent crouching or bending.
• Ability to apply standard evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard material handling techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
• Must follow company policies, procedures, practices, and standards of conduct as outlined in the Ethos employee handbook.
• This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.
• Must wear appropriate safety glasses, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Willing, adaptable, and expected to support all operational tasks with the facility as requested.
