Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory and Demand Planning Manager with expertise in the cannabis industry to manage our manufacturing inventory and demand planning processes. This role is crucial in aligning production with market demand, ensuring product availability, and optimizing inventory levels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of cannabis manufacturing, supply chain, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Forecasting and Planning:
• Develop and implement demand forecasts based on sales trends, market data, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate market intelligence into demand planning processes.
• Monitor and adjust demand plans based on market changes, customer feedback, and business needs.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee inventory levels, ensuring the right stock is maintained to meet demand without overstocking.
• Implement and manage inventory control measures to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely material availability and adherence to manufacturing schedules.
• Supply Chain Coordination:
• Work closely with suppliers and distributors to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to manage lead times, order quantities, and minimize supply disruptions.
• Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
• Production Planning:
• Support development and management of production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with production teams to balance manufacturing capacity with forecasted demand.
• Monitor production performance and adjust schedules to address any bottlenecks or production issues.
• Assist with go-to-market strategy and execution for new products.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze inventory and demand data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create regular reports and dashboards to provide insights on inventory health, demand accuracy, and supply chain efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership for inventory optimization and process improvements.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all inventory and demand planning activities adhere to regulatory requirements and quality standards specific to the cannabis industry.
• Collaborate with compliance and quality assurance teams to address any regulatory or quality issues impacting production and inventory.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of inventory and production planning.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Proficiency in ERP and inventory management systems; experience with cannabis-specific software is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards within the cannabis industry.
• Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Understanding of cannabis manufacturing processes, product types, and supply chain challenges.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy, and integrity in inventory and demand planning.
• This position is based in Fairless Hills, PA
• Ability to travel to Ethos operating states when necessary
• Must pass stringent background test requirements
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver's license or state ID card; authorized to work in the U.S
