Your Role as an Infant/Toddler Support Teacher (Closing Position)
This Support Staff role is essential in assisting lead teachers and ensuring smooth transitions at the end of the day. You will help across multiple classrooms as needed, providing extra hands and support to maintain a warm, engaging, and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Provide support across multiple classrooms, stepping in where needed.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing environment for infants and toddlers.
- Help children with transitions, play, and end-of-day routines.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and Ethos’ quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to support a positive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- EEC Infant/Toddler certification (required)
- At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare
- Passion for working with infants and toddlers and supporting their development
- Flexibility to move between classrooms and adapt to different environments
- Ability to meet physical demands: sitting, squatting, lifting up to 60 lbs
- Must be 21 years old and able to pass background checks & screenings
