About the Role
As a Support Staff Teacher, you will provide crucial assistance across our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. You’ll be a key team member, ensuring the day runs smoothly and that all children receive the highest-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between classrooms as needed, providing support to lead teachers.
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
- Support the team in daily routines, including feeding, diapering, and facilitating activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents.
- Follow directions, adapt quickly, and contribute to a collaborative and positive workplace.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children younger than 3 years old in a childcare setting is required.
- Currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program or a related field.
- A strong team player who is reliable and punctual.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both the team and families.
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various classroom settings.
Hours:
- Part-time, Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM
