We’re looking for an organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team and help ensure the successful execution of our ongoing and upcoming projects.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and field teams to coordinate, organize, and support all aspects of electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
- Support procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Track project progress and update schedules
- Maintain project documentation, submittals, and RFIs
- Communicate with field personnel, vendors, and clients
- Attend job site meetings and assist with reporting
- Help ensure safety compliance and quality control standards
- Use project management software, MS Office, and Blue Beam, Foundation, Procore
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction, electrical, or related field (internships or co-op experience welcome)
- Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (optional - job experience valued over "professional education")
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- A willingness to learn and grow within the company
