About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, processing accounts payable, and coordinating supply chain operations.
Key Requirements
- Technical or Associate's degree 2 years relevant Accounting or Purchasing experience, or combination of degree and experience.
- Experience with Inventory and Receiving functions, including QuickBooks or similar accounting applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming packages in the morning and afternoon, unpacking all supply packages and verifying supplies received against packing lists.
- Check received supplies against packing lists, verifying they are as ordered, checking packing lists against original purchase orders, and reporting discrepancies or damages in a timely manner.
- Distribute supply packages to the appropriate departments and notify employees of deliveries, restocking supplies in lab, office, and shipping areas.
