Job Overview
The Inventory/Accounts Payable Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. This position is responsible for processing inbound shipments, performing weekly inventory on all supplies, and purchasing supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bills for payment and input vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records into our accounting system.
- Open mail and match payments to invoices, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilize computer systems to run databases, pay bills, and order supplies, maintaining a high level of organizational skills.
- Enter Employee Expense Reimbursement forms into Accounting application and negotiate purchase orders per company practice.
- Maintain positive communication/interaction with suppliers and internal customers, coordinating and implementing procurement processes from initial request to handover.
