About the Role
At Casoro, the Production Manager leads the full production lifecycle—ensuring efficient scheduling, forecasting, vendor management, and quality inspections that trigger revenue recognition—while overseeing a team that drives daily operations. Reporting directly to the President and managing two supervisors and an 11-person team, you’ll implement Lean manufacturing principles, mentor staff, and take full ownership of the group’s performance.
What You’ll Accomplish
- You will leverage your experience in managing hybrid job shop and custom configuration environments to take full ownership of production, overseeing manufacturing, safety, inventory, shipping & receiving, and maintenance to ensure on-time delivery and revenue goals are met.
- You will use your strong leadership presence to build trust with the workforce and quickly assimilate into the company culture by meeting with team members, learning internal processes, and understanding customer needs within your first two weeks.
- You will apply your expertise in production scheduling and workflow management to take ownership of the production scheduling spreadsheet, assess production operations, and identify areas for improvement within your first 30 days.
- You will utilize your leadership and coaching skills to hold weekly supervisor meetings and bi-weekly production team meetings, aligning the team on safety, performance expectations, revenue goals, and process improvements.
- You will apply your supply chain and vendor management experience to optimize inventory control, purchasing, and vendor relationships—ensuring materials are available, stored properly, and delivered on time by actively negotiating and establishing Service Level Agreements.
- You will use your experience in lean manufacturing and process optimization to implement at least one efficiency improvement initiative within 60 days and continue driving quarterly process improvements that enhance on-time delivery and output.
- You will leverage your ERP system expertise to assist with the implementation of Odoo, working towards integrating production efficiency tracking by mid-2026.
- You will use your ability to scale production operations to increase weekly production capacity from 10-12 units to 15-16 units by the end of 2025.
- You will rely on your quality assurance background to ensure quality control measures are in place within 60 days, proactively identifying and resolving defects early in the production process.
- You will use your strategic thinking and organizational skills to define and implement key performance metrics within 90 days, create clear role descriptions and goals for all production staff within 120 days, and drive continuous improvement across operations.
