About The Role
This pivotal role involves leading the training of the underwriting team, managing our audit processes, handling escalations and investigations, and maintaining all standard operating procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our underwriting practices while upholding the highest standards of compliance and risk management.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Team Training and Development :
Lead the development of a production underwriting team, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle their roles effectively.
Oversee the audit team, ensuring all underwriting activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Serve as the key point of contact for all escalated underwriting issues.
Collaborate with the Head of Underwriting Partnership to ensure successful completion of carrier and reinsurance audits

The US national base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000 - $251,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
