The Packaging Lead will work out of our Brownwood Texas manufacturing facility, and report to the Shift Supervisor. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to :
- Routine checks and preventative maintenance of equipment
- Efficient completion of final assembly and then packaging processes if required
- Startup and shutdown machinery as necessary
- Product labeling and inspection of final product, including correct bags, seals, etc.
- Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area according to 5S setup
- Reporting issues when they arise
- Quality checks of their equipment, process, or product in accordance with the site’s quality requirements
- Support the Shift Manager with managing the production floor staff and train packaging operators
- Other duties as assigned
