JOB SUMMARY :
Our dynamic Ethos Medical Management division is seeking a full-time IME Specialist (REMOTE) who will be responsible for coordinating Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) by scheduling the right physicians to meet client needs. This role will directly impact business operations and client satisfaction, making attention to detail and professionalism essential. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong administrative skills, customer service skills, and preferably previous experience working with IMEs.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Review injury and claim details to assign the appropriate physician for exams.
- Schedule IME appointments and communicate details to all parties involved.
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing appointment letters, cover letters, reminder calls, and report follow-ups.
- Obtain prepayment invoices from providers and calculate mileage reimbursements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering frequent client updates.
- Assist with ancillary services like transportation and interpretation scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with deadlines, state statutes, and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and security.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Health Administration or similar degree preferred.
Experience : 1-3 years in customer service (healthcare or medical admin experience preferred).
Skills : Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to consistently deliver quality results within assigned deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented / remote environment. Excellent verbal and written communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
This is a 100% remote position (US hours) requiring a reliable and consistent internet connection. Frequent prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Regular communication via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom (audio & video). Occasional in-person interactions with clients, customers, and team members.
