Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must meet the qualifications for a Peer Support Qualified Professional according to NC Medicaid guidelines.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals in behavioral health or peer support services.
- Strong knowledge of Person-Centered Planning and assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in on-site environments.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, preferably ICANN or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in behavioral health and mental health counseling
- Proficiency in patient assessment and care
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- CPR Certification and experience with crisis intervention

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on behavioral health needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including behavioral therapy and crisis intervention, to support mental health recovery.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in continuous professional development, including CPR certification and training in relevant therapeutic techniques.
