Job Description:
The Clinical Supervisor position oversees multiple aspects of their clients’ cases. They are responsible for progress reports, goal creation and implementation, data tracking, quality insurance, supervising the one-to-one direct care providers, training, attending clinical meetings and tracking billable hours. The Clinical Supervisor must be comfortable with the administrative aspects of being a supervisor, but also must be comfortable working 1:1 with individuals when needed. The Clinical Supervisor position requires a strong knowledge of developmental disabilities, intervention techniques and crises prevention. Applicants must also be comfortable working with individuals that have developmental disabilities in conjunction with forensic (i.e. criminal record) and psychiatric complications that may lead to aggressive or difficult behavior.
ETHOS Therapeutics takes a team approach to providing the most rigorous and thorough services possible. As such, Clinical Supervisor’s must be comfortable working in conjunction with numerous field supervisors and 1:1 staff.
This position takes place in a mixture of settings. While the role will primarily be fulfilled in an office setting it will also require trips into the community or homes of the individuals we work with. Supervisors' will also be trained on how to drive a 12 person van in cases of emergencies.
The Clinical Supervisor must be one of the following licensed or credentialed positions: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Addiction Counselor, Speech Therapist/Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Psychologist. This position will also require the applicant to be in good health and physically capable of completing an extensive crises and prevention integration training, including advance physical skills. Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of developmental disabilities and behavioral techniques.
Responsibilities:
· Create progress reports
· Determine and create person centered goals
· Attend meetings related to your cases
· Data tabulation
· Ensure safety of clients and staff
· Ensure quality and standards of all clinical application of care
· Assist clients or staff as needed
· Follow and administer curriculum
· Meet/drop off clients at their homes or various pick up locations (worksites may vary)
· Provide behavioral intervention
· Collect and review daily notes and data
· Follow HIPPA and Regional Center best practices and standards
· Maintain and ensure cleanliness of your vehicle used for transportation
· Provide training
· Utilize billing software to track hours
· Able to lift 10 lbs. unassisted
· Must be able to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods
· Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel for extended periods
· Must be able to tolerate working outside in heat, cold, rain and other inclement weather
Requirements
· Master’s degree or higher in a related field
· Licensed or credentialed in one of the categories listed above.
· Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
· Knowledge of behavioral interventions
· Current and valid driver’s license
· Clean driving record
· Ability to drive large vehicles (12 passenger van w/a high roof)
· Ability to pass a TB test prior to hire
· Ability to pass DOJ, FBI and DMV background check prior to hire
· Capability to complete Crises Intervention and Prevention training with advance physical skills
· Reliable and safe vehicle for transportation of clients
· Current and valid vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications
· Three or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
· CPR/First aid certification
· CPI or other de-escalation techniques certification or training
· Experience with mental illness and psychiatric diagnoses
· Experience providing rehabilitation services to individuals who were previously incarcerated
· Formal training in A.B.A. techniques
