Regional IVIG RN Director
Regional Nursing Director is a licensed professional who assumes responsibility and authority for the management and administration and coordination of nursing in accordance with the company standards and policies and state, federal, and accrediting body guidelines.
Position Responsibilities:
- Directs the activities of nursing departments, schedules work activities of nursing staff meeting patient care needs within a designated region.
- Perform related duties as assigned by senior management.
- Interprets and implements policies and procedures and oversees the selection, development, and monitoring of nursing staff within a designated region.
- Ensures that all nurses providing care, maintain the professional standards of Nursing practice including monitoring of patient supplies within a designated region.
- Verifies that the patient’s medical condition and prescribed therapy is suitable for home care.
- Provides continuing education as needed to nurse on home care related issues including competency and orientation programs within a designated region.
- Coordinates all patient care and services in cooperation with the Director of Pharmacy within a designated region.
- Facilitates a clinical networking system for the company and acts as a clinical resource.
- Willing to travel as needed for business purposes within and out of state.
- Must maintain an active and unrestricted Nursing license in current state of practice.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensures services are provided in a manner consistent with established standards of practice, federal and state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Identifies and resolves customer service issues; gives high priority to customer satisfaction and needs.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and competitive information.
- Completes work on schedule.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in nursing or healthcare administration.
_ * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a IVIG, home infusion or infusion setting._
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in nursing management.
- Understanding of standard clinical procedures, and nursing rules and regulations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, and infusion supplies used in the home setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
- Functional knowledge and use of CPR .
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN or higher in nursing or healthcare administration.
- CRNI, IgCN or other infusion credentialing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $165,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
