RN Supervisor, Home Infusion
The Home Infusion Nursing Supervisor is a licensed professional who assumes responsibility and authority for the supervision, administration, and coordination of nursing in accordance with the company standards and policies.
Compliance with all state, federal, and accrediting body guidelines. Nursing Supervisor assists in planning of agency activities and budget, and organizes, administers, and supervises health services within the company.
Supervisor is responsible for assisting senior leadership in meeting operational and financial goals.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Directs the activities of nursing departments, schedules work activities of nursing staff meeting patient care needs.
- Provides direct patient care as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned by Regional Director of Nursing.
- Interprets and implements policies and procedures and oversees the selection, development, and monitoring of nursing staff.
- Ensures that all nurses provide care, maintain the professional standards of nursing practice including monitoring of patient supplies.
- Collects patient specific information needed to determine the suitability of patients for home care.
- Provides continuing education as needed to nurse on home care related issues including competency and orientation programs.
- Coordinates all patient care and services in cooperation with the Director of Pharmacy and Site Manager.
- Facilitates a clinical networking system for the company and acts as a clinical resource.
- Willing to travel as needed for business purposes within and out of the state.
- Must maintain an active and unrestricted Nursing license in current state of practice.
Job Requirements:
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensures services are provided in a manner consistent with established standards of practice, federal and state regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrates a high degree of personal responsibility regarding accuracy and quality of work.
- Identifies and resolves customer service issues; gives high priority to customer satisfaction and needs.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and competitive information.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse without restriction. Diploma, Associate degree or higher in nursing.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a home infusion or infusion setting.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in nursing management.
- Understanding of standard clinical procedures, and nursing rules and regulations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, and infusion supplies used in the home setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
- Functional knowledge and use of CPR .
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN or higher in nursing or healthcare administration.
- CRNI, IgCN or other infusion credentialing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
