Coating Operator

Our Aerospace & Defence business are recruiting for a Coating Operator to join the team in East Windsor, Connecticut. As a Coating Operator you will be responsible for performing processes to thermally apply pack aluminide coating tasks as a part of a team to repair Gas Turbine engine components.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform tasks such as;
• Load and unload retort
• Spray coating applications
• Grit blast
• Program ovens
• Monitor coating application and adherence
• All work must be done to customer requirements and in line with HSE and PPE requirements
• Able to work extended hours if/when required
• Able to work weekend if/when required
• Extra duties as required my supervisor
  
  

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Able to follow instructions, read write and interpret customer specification's.
• Able to work in a team environment
• Safety is key in EthosEnergy, so ability to follow all HSE and PPE requirements is priority.
• Ideal candidate will be a quick learner
• Able to blend coating powders, record in logs & document routers
• Follow lean manufacturing principles
  
  

Experience

• 1-3 years preferred
• Strong shop mathematics. Including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions.
  
  

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Lift & push up to 50 lbs.
• Operate Forklift
• Stand for 8 hours
