We are recruiting an Engineer to help support our Aerospace and Defense component repair facility located in Duncan South Carolina. Important to note that qualified applicants must be United States Citizens as per requirements of the FAA. This position will use advanced engineering skills as well as scientific methods and tools to assist the broader team with design development and other projects as required by the operation. For consideration candidates must be permanent citizens of the United States as regulated by the FAA and DOT. Also, strong command and proficiency of the English language is required (both verbally and written). Strong preference given to candidates with experience in a manufacturing or production environment and/or aviation field. Project management experience is a plus!
Recent College Graduates will be considered for this position with proof of hands-on, verifiable internship experience in related field. This role is a full-time, "In-Office" position that follows a traditional Monday – Friday schedule. Job Responsibilities
- Use engineering skills and detailed knowledge of EEAC and apply to the project design of EthosEnergy company and client product line
- Learn and understand company production processes across multiple business units
- Ability to learn jet engine fundamentals and comprehend complex blueprints for turbine engine component parts
- Be a steward of compliancy related to environmental, health and safety laws and standard EEAC engineering processes
- Interact with suppliers and customers to complete engineering tasks
- Troubleshoot and correct issues with existing processes and propose new methodologies
- Schedule tasks for project completion and arrange appropriate time frames with staff and client
- Perform all necessary work to accomplish specific tasks within schedule (Held accountable for meeting deadlines)
- Provide timely feedback if dates and cost targets cannot be met
- Actively participate as a member of the team for site projects
- Provide peers and team with solutions to any technical issues
- Work closely with all project team members (assembly, design, test, and field service) to develop designs
- Cross train with various groups in a testing capacity or within field service
- Write technical reports and present to a project team, customer, and / or management as needed
- Strong knowledge of computer software using MS Office/Solidworks/CAD Systems
- Familiarity with the processes of and environment within a production or manufacturing repair shop
- Technical knowledge of processes such as TIG welding, plasma spraying, conventional/vacuum heat-treating, brazing, machining, electrical harness repairs and heavy industrial repairs on gas turbine engines
- Basic understanding of super alloy metallurgy
- Ability to comprehend overhaul manuals and generate easy to follow procedures and instructions
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing and NDE processes is a plus!!
- Strong presentation and Customer Service Skills required
- 1-2 years of work experience as a Chartered or Professional Engineer preferred (Strong preference for those with Aerospace Engineering Experience) OR
- Qualified by completion of an education (4-year bachelor's degree in engineering or technical degree (US) with hands on internship / apprentice experience within field of Aerospace, Aviation or related field in the Production/Manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree or

- QBE (Qualified by Experience)
