Our boutique storefront offers customers a curated experience, and this spring/summer, we’re also bringing our designs to life at local Farmers Market pop-ups.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Retail Associate to support daily operations at our ETHWES storefront, while also representing the brand at seasonal Farmers Market pop-ups. This temporary position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with customers, loves fashion, and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store following ETHWES policies and procedures.
- Welcome customers with warmth, energy, and product knowledge, ensuring every visit feels personal and inviting.
- Manage inventory, including receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and maintaining accurate inventory counts.
- Assist with merchandising to keep the store visually appealing and aligned with the ETHWES aesthetic.
- Support social media efforts directly from the store — capturing content, posting updates, and engaging with followers to promote new arrivals, sales, and events.
- Provide exceptional customer service, helping customers find styles that match their tastes and needs.
- Occasionally work at Farmers Market pop-ups during spring and summer to extend ETHWES’s presence and engage with the local community.
- Contribute to sales growth by building relationships with customers and offering personalized styling assistance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliability is essential — we need someone who can consistently cover store hours (Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 4 PM) and occasionally work weekends at the Farmers Market.
- Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality with a natural flair for customer service.
- Some retail experience is a plus, but enthusiasm, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
- Comfortable using a smartphone to assist with social media and basic inventory tasks.
- Passion for fashion and an appreciation for culturally-inspired design.
