What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at ETI FAB, Inc.?
IMMEDIATE OPENING!
Shift hours:
Monday - Friday
6:00am - 2:30pm
This position will require the employee to perform a wide range of general labor tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Safety must always be the employee’s first consideration prior to execution of any task. This employee will need to have a positive can-do attitude with a well-rounded work ethic along with good listening skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Reviews all process sheets and work instructions on a daily basis to ensure compliance of proper product and equipment operation.
o Performs all work checks as defined for the process and skill level, utilizing various hand gauges, and various measuring equipment.
o Manually adjusts machine as needed for process part consistency in accordance with the training and skill level of the employee.
o Loads and/or unloads processes as needed.
o Works in a safe manner and follows all plant safety policies; and instills safe practices while training other personnel by stressing the hazards associated with operation of specific pieces of equipment.
o Leads through example with respect to professionalism and leadership in the execution and support of company policies and directives.
o Participates in training activities to help expand present skill set in order to advance into other job assignments.
o Completes all necessary paperwork including but not limited to Lot Tags, Check Sheets, SPC charts, Production Results.
o Perform all job functions considering your safety and the safety of fellow employees as the highest priority
Qualifications
o High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school is preferred. Technical Certification or Vocational School is a plus.
o Must be at least 18 years of age
