What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Project Engineer position at Etica Group?
The Etica Group is actively seeking a highly talented Transportation Engineer for immediate employment in the Indianapolis area. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in roadway design and familiarity with the INDOT process of roadway plan and specifications development. Experience with Traffic Planning is desired but not required. The applicant must be able to work within a team and show willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of new design challenges.

- Design INDOT and other related transportation roadway projects, including roundabouts.
- Incorporate AutoCAD Civil 3D standards into design process.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with project stakeholders as needed with concerns to the project requirements.
- Works well independently or with a team with minimal supervision.
- Will need to be well organized and able to provide project status updates regularly.
- Understand process workflows from project start to finish.
- Flexibility to work with other departments if needed.
- Ability to work overtime, when needed to meet project deadlines.
- Understand and adapt work efficiency to best meet project budgets and goals.
- Perform additional assignments, as directed by the Transportation Engineering Manager.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 4 years of experience in roadway and related transportation design
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
- INDOT roadway design experience
- Registered PE or EI in Indiana
