Pave Mobility of Dania Beach, FL, is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant. This finance-focused position earns competitive pay commensurate with experience. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor outstanding accounts and assist with collections and vendor communication as needed.
- Support month-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial data.
- Handle inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions and records.
- Assist with the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.
- Maintain the confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function to increase efficiency and accuracy.
