Position Summary :
Etna Supply is seeking a Waterworks Account Manager with plumbing industry experience to drive sales growth and provide top-tier customer experiences in the South Bend area . This role focuses on managing accounts, generating new business, providing tailored pricing and bids, and exceeding sales goals. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong product knowledge, negotiation skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Deliver exceptional customer experiences by meeting or exceeding expectations in every interaction.Represent Etna Supply with professionalism, honesty, and integrity in all dealings with customers, vendors, and stakeholders.Foster respectful and dignified relationships with colleagues, customers, and business partners.Achieve or surpass sales and profit goals through effective sales strategies.Execute each step of the Sales Cycle with precision and efficiency.Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular in-person and virtual sales calls.Collaborate with the credit department to ensure timely payment collection on assigned accounts.Identify, gather, and deliver bid information for DOT and public projects, optimizing estimating resources.Assist estimating staff in prioritizing projects based on bid dates, project size, scope, and likelihood of award.Ensure the accuracy of customer quotes, taking responsibility for pricing and final approval.Oversee the bidding process in assigned territories by identifying opportunities, confirming vendor pricing, and developing competitive quote strategies.Act promptly to follow up on quotes and close sales opportunities.Perform estimating duties for private, DOT, and public projects, including :Conducting material takeoffs based on project type and bid date.Reviewing project specifications to ensure compliance with material requirements.Coordinating with estimators, vendors, customers, and engineers to gather essential information.Accurately compiling material takeoff lists, organized per company standards.Monitoring project addenda and updating material takeoffs as necessary.Organizing project documents, including plans, specifications, and correspondence.Assisting in material quote gathering for project bids.Host customer and prospect entertainment events to strengthen business relationships.Conduct market research to identify customer needs and improve quote accuracy and competitiveness.Stay informed about new products, material specifications, and government regulations affecting the industry.Communicate vendor and product opportunities to sales leadership for evaluation.Provide customer service support as needed, handling calls, emails, and quote preparation.Develop industry connections to generate new sales opportunities.Engage in prospecting activities, researching and building a pipeline of potential customers.Participate in internal, vendor, and industry training sessions and meetings as required.Make customer deliveries when necessary.Maintain consistent attendance and adherence to safety protocols.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas with strong profit margins.In-depth knowledge of company products and industry trends.Strong sales, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company effectively.Willingness and availability to travel frequently.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Eclipse experience is a plus.Strong numerical skills, including the ability to calculate margins, discounts, interest, and proportions.Ability to operate standard office equipment efficiently.Education and Experience :
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, ORSix months to one year of relevant experience / training, ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.Certifications & Licenses :
