Job Summary: Develop shop drawings and operation and maintenance manuals, assist the Quoting and Sales Departments on projects, and create Submittals for all divisions of Etna as needed.
- Meet or exceed the deadlines & expectations of our customers by providing a positive customer experience.
- Communicate courteously, effectively, and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Review project documents and understand scope of work to bid.
- Obtain specification drawings from vendors or computer database.
- Prepare shop drawings, submittal documents, and operation and maintenance manuals accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized digital files with the required information.
- Maintain working knowledge of commercial plumbing projects, PVF Mechanical, Underground, Heating, HVAC, obtained through manufacturer trainings, web trainings, experience, etc.
- Inform supervisor of any observed inaccuracies or omissions in quoted items or computer database.
- Track and input activities into the department’s job tracking system.
- Assist the Quoting/Sales departments with projects as required.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, deadlines, and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, customer service, detail-orientation, teamwork, judgement, problem solving, and stress management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Eclipse, Submittal 123, and Adobe Professional.
- Effective and professional business writing skills.
- Effectively read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, divide, calculate figures, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume with or without using a calculator,
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or
- Six months to a year of related experience and training; or
- Equivalent combination of experience and education.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Frequently required to sit; talk and hear; and use fingers.
- Regularly required to walk and stand; reach, grasp, and handle.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include clear vision at 20 inches or less, depth perception, and color vision.
- Pass substance abuse screening.
