POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Manufacturing Engineer supports Manufacturing Engineers by assisting in creation and maintenance of manufacturing methods and strategies to optimize current and develop new manufacturing procedures. Performs research and analysis, establishes guidelines and specifications on different manufacturing projects.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans.
- Assists in developing manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
- Assists in developing and integrating suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Assists in developing tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
- Assists to investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues.
- Assists in developing work instructions.
- Maintains routing and standards to keep current and accurate.
- Generates and maintains all work centers and pertinent information.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
An associate's degree in a related field is required. An in-depth knowledge of engineering bills and manufacturing processes, as well as a good knowledge of the work centers and processes is required.
