Salary Ranges:
$18.50 - $23.72
Position classification will be measured on relevant experience and on-the-job pre-employment test results.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under direct supervision, spray paints parts or units with primers or finish coats.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Performs routine or repetitive spray paint operations.
- Acquires and develops skills in painting without runs.
- Acquires and develops skills in use of spray painting equipment.
- Acquires and develops skills in mixing paints for spraying.
- Acquires and develops skills in cleaning and maintaining spray paint booths and equipment.
- Follows all procedures without deviation for mixing and spraying paint.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leader or supervisor.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
A general knowledge of spray painting techniques, tools, materials and equipment is required. Skills may be gained through a combination of practical experience and specialized training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent climbing, bending, twisting and/or lifting approximately 55 pounds (and periodically heavier loads approximately 80 pounds) will be required. Wearing a respirator will also be required.

The individual holding this position has a broad responsibility for carrying out the objectives of the Company including supporting all company policies, meeting goals, and working as a contributing team member.
