Responsibilities of our Nurse Educator include :
Responsible for the development, direction, implementation, management and operation of the infection prevention in the long term care facility. W ill work to identify, investigate, monitor, and report healthcare-associated infections and communicable diseases. Collaborates with teams and individuals to create, educate, and sustain infection prevention strategies, as well as provide feedback. Conducts ongoing staff development, training and quality assurance performance improvement monitoring to insure adherence with the organizational standards, professional guidelines, state, and federal regulations.
Schedule : Monday - Friday (On-Call rotation)
Eligibility / Qualifications :
- Valid GA LPN or RN license
- Have primary professional training in nursing, medical technology, microbiology, epidemiology, or another related field
- Is qualified by education, training, experience, or certification.
- Has completed specialized training in infection prevention https : / / spice.unc.edu / courses / icltchome /
