ETR, L.L.C. is a leader in servicing, remounting, and reconditioning emergency vehicles for first responders. Our team ensures that ambulances, fire trucks, and other rescue vehicles remain in peak working condition.
We are looking for a Mobile Service Technician to provide on-site repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting for emergency vehicles. This role requires a self-motivated, skilled technician with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused attitude. Travel and overnight stays will be required. When not traveling, the technician must be able to commute to ETR’s facility in Sanford, FL.
- Travel to customer locations to perform on-site repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems in emergency vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle reliability
- Troubleshoot 12V electrical systems, wiring, lighting, sirens, and communication equipment
- Repair and replace components such as door mechanisms, HVAC systems, and emergency vehicle accessories
- Work closely with dispatch and service teams to schedule and complete work orders efficiently
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing professional and timely service
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures while working on-site
- Travel and overnight stays required based on service needs
- Report to ETR’s Sanford facility when not traveling
- Experience as an automotive, emergency vehicle, or heavy equipment technician
- Strong knowledge of 12V electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication
- Experience with diagnostic tools, power tools, and repair equipment
- Comfortable working in various environments and weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays as needed
- Must be able to commute to ETR’s Sanford facility when not traveling
- Work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
