We are looking for an experienced Automotive Painter with strong color-matching skills, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship and can deliver high-quality finishes that meet industry standards.
What You Will Do
- Prep vehicle bodies for paint, including taping, sanding, and cleaning
- Mix and apply bondo as needed for surface repairs
- Apply primer and base coats to vehicle bodies
- Perform cutting and buffing after paint application for a flawless finish
- Paint ambulance bodies, chassis, and custom emergency vehicle components
- Blend and match paint colors to factory and custom specifications
- Apply clear coats and protective finishes to ensure durability
- Identify and correct imperfections in paint jobs before final delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in automotive painting and refinishing
- Strong color-matching and blending skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of paint mixing, spraying techniques, and finishing processes
- Experience painting large vehicles, such as trucks or emergency vehicles, is a plus
- Ability to handle power tools, sanders, and buffing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
