Shift work hours 7am-3:30pm
ETRIA Manufacturing USA Inc. is seeking an Assembly Operator for 1st shift to become an integral part of our team! Under direct supervision, the Assembly Operator will safely perform manual assembly tasks and operate stations in a single assembly line to produce small parts and components. Assembly operators will also perform product changeovers and preventive maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine manual assembly of the company’s products. May assemble a variety of components or parts for a particular product and load them into the machine for processing.
- May assist in simple and routine machine preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions.
- Work may include loading/unloading product from machine and applying label or stickers to product.
- May perform other packaging tasks including: placing product into box, labels on packages, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product.
- Work includes manual dexterity in assembling subassemblies or entire units, such as inserting or applying parts or pieces to meet specifications and requirements.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of production-related experience is preferred.
- Good dexterity is required to work with small parts/components which requires special care in handling.
- Must be able to read and write number in decimals as well as have ability to speak and understand English.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
