Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

Privately owned company that has contracts with FedEx Ground to deliver and pick up packages out of Hays, KS. is looking for delivery drivers.

Pay: $16.50 - $23.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must pass a Drug Screen
• No misdemeanor or felony convictions (including Pending Charges)
• No theft or violence convictions (Including Pending Charges)
• Must pass a DOT physical (Company Paid)
• Must be able to pass road test
• Must be able to work up to 6 days including weekends
• Routes vary from 80-225 stops per day
• Start time approximately 7:30 am till finished
• Able to lift packages up to 150 lbs with assistance, equipment provided
• Must have at least 1 year in the last 3 years of verifiable work driving experience (any driving that is part of a job where pay was received-construction food delivery, landscaping, etc.)
• Physically able to carry a package (50 lbs)
• CDL IS NOT required for this Delivery Driver Position

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and report
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Drive a company owned truck, following our safety standards on and off the road
• Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
