Duration: 6 months (W2)

<>Job Description:

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services.

<>Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Implement microservices architecture with scalable and high-performance solutions
• Work with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, API Gateway) for cloud-native development
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security
• Integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
• Implement test-driven development (TDD) and write unit and integration tests
• Work closely with frontend teams and DevOps engineers to deploy and manage cloud-based applications

<>Required Skills:

• Backend Development: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
• Microservices & APIs: RESTful API development, API Gateway
• Cloud Technologies: AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB
• Messaging & Event Streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ (Preferred)
• Testing & CI/CD: JUnit, Mockito, Jenkins, Git, Docker

<>Preferred Candidates:

• Experience working in financial services or previously at Capital One is a plus
• Knowledge of Python or Node.js for API development is a bonus
