is seeking a Job Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP)
for a young man with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
in our Employment Services - Community Integration Department
Location:
North Hills (San Fernando Valley)
Schedule:
Mondays - Fridays
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(30 hours per week)
Experience:
Must have professional or personal experience supporting individuals with special needs.
Description:
Seeking friendly, personable, positive and patient staff who can be a motivator and a mentor. Support client both at place of employment, as well as outside of work for support with health and nutrition, exercise, budgeting, etc.
Qualifications:
- 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license (for a minimum of three years), clean driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance coverage
- Willingness to drive with our client using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Paid Training Provided (weekdays / daytime hours)
