CMT Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our projects through rigorous quality control measures and inspections. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, including concrete forming and masonry, as well as the ability to analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Duties

• Conduct quality inspections on materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Collect and analyze data related to construction processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Perform construction inspections to verify that work is completed according to contract requirements.
• Assist in concrete forming tasks, ensuring proper techniques are applied for structural integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to address any quality-related issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings for reporting purposes.
• Support laboratory testing procedures as needed to validate material properties and performance.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices in the construction industry.
• Proficient in data collection methods and analysis techniques relevant to construction projects.
• Experience with quality inspection processes, particularly in masonry and concrete applications.
• Ability to effectively analyze project data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with contract specifications and the ability to interpret technical documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
