Job Summary
I am seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join my legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles, particularly in workers' compensation law and tribal law regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing cases, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
Duties
- Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of legal documents.
- Assist in the preparation of legal contracts and agreements.
- Manage legal case files, maintaining organized records and documentation.
- Support attorneys with project management tasks related to ongoing cases.
- Provide clerical support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and filing documents.
- Research tribal law regulations as they pertain to specific cases.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case management and workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law and contract law is preferred.
- Familiarity with legal case management software is advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in providing executive administrative support is a plus.
