Job responsibilities of an Audio Visual (AV) Programmer:
Read and interpret AV system drawings
Gather programming requirements
Create new control modules
Perform commissioning and testing codes
Perform troubleshooting
Create end-user and program-related documents
Update programming code in installed system
Maintain control code in version control
Travel to various job sites
What it takes to be successful as a Audio Visual (AV) Programmer:
Formal education in electronics, software, engineering, or other related fields
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) Preferred
Experience with Crestron / Extron / QSC, AMX, Valcom and various DSPs Preferred
