Laborer/Mover/Moving professional

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their relocation needs, ensuring that their belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload items from trucks and vans, ensuring all belongings are handled with care.
• Drive box trucks or vans to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist in packing, wrapping, and securing items for transport to prevent damage during transit.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks for moving heavy items within warehouses or job sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient route driving and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities throughout the day.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Basic knowledge of route driving and delivery processes is beneficial.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
